FLU Vaccination Programme: 2020/21
Please see below our plans for flu clinics this year. Due to Covid-19, we are unable to have any open clinics, as we have to manage the numbers of people in the surgery at any one time, ensure that patients are socially distanced and enable the extra cleaning requirements. If you are eligible for a FREE NHS Flu Vaccine, please visit: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/who-should-have-flu-vaccine/
Our Saturday morning clinics will be held at the Surgery, appointments from 9.00 am – 12.15 pm. Please contact the Surgery: 01638 741234 or via askmyGP to book your appointment.
We are providing children’s flu immunisation again this year, which is administered via a nasal spray. Public Health England guidelines for eligible children are as follows:
Children in clinical risk groups detailed above aged 6 months up to 2 years old |
All children aged 2 and 3 years old on 31st August 2020 |
Children in clinical risk groups detailed above up to the age of 17 years old |
Children not listed above will be offered the flu vaccine at School |
